Fashion Collective

Clothes swaps for the community.

refresh your wardrobe, make new connections, and take meaningful action for the environment

Hoop Fashion Collective was founded by 3 sustainable fashion lovers Hannah Parris, Daniela de Montby and Kaye Carmichael.

In the UK, we consume 2-3 times more clothes than the global average, and dispose of around 35 items per year. All of this generates the equivalent emissions of about 17% of all the vehicles on the UK road.

Clothes swaps are a great way for us to enjoy fashion in a more sustainable and affordable way, all while making new friends in our local community.

About

How it works

WHAT TO BRING

Good quality and clean clothes or shoes that you would happily give to a friend. We accept high street to high-end garments. No swimwear or underwear please.

All items will be assessed by the Hoop Fashion Collective team before being accepted. We will not include torn, dirty clothes or items in poor condition.

HOW IT WORKS

Ideally bring 5 items to give to the clothes swap, with a maximum of 10 items.

Once items are in the clothes swap they cannot be returned to you so be 100% sure you’re ready to let them go.

HOW TO SWAP

We use a token currency:

  • 1 Token = pre-loved and under £50 in value

  • 2 Tokens = pre-loved and over £50 in value

Items can only be purchased using tokens, no items can be purchased using money.
